MEET THE TEAM
Jenny Lai
Registered Physiotherapist
Jenny holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Western University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology from the University of Toronto. Her academic achievements, combined with her extensive clinical experience, make her a well-rounded and compassionate physiotherapist.
Jenny has worked with patients of all ages, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. Her approach is patient-centered, holistic, and evidence-based, combining education, hands-on therapy, and exercise to help individuals achieve their goals.
Jenny also has specialized training in pelvic floor physiotherapy, addressing concerns like incontinence, pelvic pain, prenatal birth prep and postpartum recovery. Her expertise has empowered countless individuals to regain confidence and improve their pelvic health and overall quality of life.
When she’s not helping clients move better, Jenny loves to move herself—whether it’s unleashing her dance moves, jamming out to her favorite tunes, or fiercely competing with friends in games.
Haneen Ali
Resident Physiotherapist
Haneen Ali is a native Scarborough resident and a registered physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from McMaster University. She also holds an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience and Mental Health Studies from the University of Toronto. Haneen is incredibly passionate about promoting physical and mental wellness and is motivated by her commitment to improve the quality of life of her patients.
She uses an empathetic and evidence-based approach to treat her patients, ensuring that her care is dictated both by emerging research and patient values. She has experience treating complex musculoskeletal injuries (herniated discs, rotator cuff injuries, osteoarthritis of the hip and knee), as well as various neurological conditions—such as Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and multiple sclerosis.
Having taken courses in perinatal care during her Master’s degree, Haneen is also interested in pelvic health and empowering women to take ownership over their perinatal and reproductive health. She is currently in the process of completing her levels in pelvic health courses.
Outside of the clinic, you will find Haneen at research conferences—either presenting or learning from physiotherapy experts—weightlifting, boxing, or hiking along the Rouge Valley Park!
JESSA REBLE
Resident Physiotherapist
Jessa is a dedicated and passionate physiotherapist with a wealth of experience across various clinical settings. She has worked in acute rehabilitation, orthopedic care, and as a clinical instructor, helping to shape the next generation of therapists. Jessa specializes in treating neuromuscular conditions such as fractures, frozen shoulder, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other mobility-limiting injuries, working with patients across all age groups, from children to older adults.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Jessa is dedicated to empowering young professionals. She has participated in presentations, talks and mentoring. Her leadership and passion for supporting others reflect her commitment to the growth and development of the profession.
Outside of work, Jessa enjoys staying active through Pilates, spin classes, and hiking with her dog. She is also a devoted sports fan, following basketball, baseball, soccer, and football. Her approach to life and therapy is rooted in her belief in holistic wellness, balancing her professional skills with her personal love for health and fitness.
IMAN YAROW
Resident Physiotherapist
Iman completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo.
Through her educational journey, she has developed a strong foundational knowledge of the human body, allowing her to effectively treat various musculoskeletal injuries, including but not limited to pre/post-surgical rehabilitation, arthritis, sprains, strains, nerve dysfunction, fractures, dislocations, bone conditions such as osteoporosis, and chronic pain.
She has experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan, from children to older adults, and from non-athletes to high-level athletes. You can expect Iman to take a patient-centered, holistic approach that is evidence-based, incorporating education, hands-on therapy, and exercise to help you achieve your goals.
Having lived in Scarborough for over 15 years, Iman is deeply committed to the advancement and growth of her community. She is passionate about advocating for equitable access to healthcare among underserved groups and supports initiatives that align with these values.
Iman is dedicated to lifelong learning and continually expanding her skill set to better serve her patients. In her free time, Iman enjoys biking, playing pickleball, rock climbing, and watching professional soccer.
MARQUISE SWABY
Registered Physiotherapist
Marquise Swaby completed his Master of Physical Therapy from Western University, prior to this, obtained a Bachelors in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University.
He has a comprehensive understanding in treating athletes from the competitive to professional level, acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, preoperative and postoperative surgery, concussions, and more. He is currently certified in acupuncture & dry needling, CCMI Concussion Management, and continues to progress through the FCAMPT level system for manual therapy.
Having a passion for community involvement, he has worked with Team Canada Women's Basketball, NBA player led camps, CoComelon Party Time actresses, led and assisted with programs and discussions through Big Brothers Big Sisters, Western University MPT program and schools in GTA. During his spare time, Marquise enjoys eating a variety of cuisines, travelling and staying active through running, weightlifting, basketball and more.
Marquise provides personalized treatment programs with an emphasis on therapeutic movement, function, and gradual progression through physical and mental wellness. He has found fulfillment in promoting a healthy and active lifestyle, along with providing empowerment to individuals. Currently, he is a part of various community and curricular initiatives that provide a voice and resources for marginalized individuals.
Jaeda Grant
Administrative Coordinator
Jaeda is an enthusiastic and dedicated front desk receptionist. She is currently studying Kinesiology at York University, where she is also working towards a certificate in Athletic Therapy. With a strong passion for injury prevention and rehabilitation, Jaeda is committed to helping others achieve optimal health and performance.
In addition to her studies, Jaeda is gaining valuable hands-on experience as a student athletic therapist, providing on-field and clinical care for varsity athletes. Through her placement, she assists athletes in preventing injuries, recovering from setbacks, and maximizing their performance, further developing her expertise in sports therapy.
Outside of work and school, Jaeda enjoys staying active through yoga, reading, and playing the piano. Her positive, approachable attitude, combined with her knowledge and passion for health, make her an integral part of our team, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for all our clients.
Victoria Mercorillo
Administrative Assistant
Victoria Mercorillo is a friendly face you will see when you visit our clinic. A graduate of York University, with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology, Victoria Brings a wealth of administrative and customer service experience to our team. Her attention to detail and ability to connect with clients ensure every visit to our clinic is smooth and welcoming.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys exploring new places through travel, diving into a good book, and spending quality time with her dog, Daisy. She is excited to be part of a team dedicated to improving health and well-being and looks forward to assisting you during your next visit.
